cellphone memories

I remember a time before cellphones. It was a time of face to face communication,handwritten letters by post,waiting on family functions to catch up and a time where you had to be near a land line to receive a call.

The thought of owning a  car with a cellphone would be a big dream.Then came the block phones which were portable which became trendier each time an upgrade was released.

The cellphone chanced communication forever.At first it was only those who could afford a cellphone,who had one.Then next it became affordable and a  necessity in every home.It wasn't long before almost everyone owned it.

There would no longer be excuses for staying out of touch with family & friends.Back then the importance of owning a cellphone was not for video or picture clarity.The best part was that in times of emergency or every urgency, a person could be contacted anywhere and at anytime.
