It is important for us to know and even keep animals, for animals in their behavior tell us a lot about human behavior.Caring for an animal,say a cat or a horse would help us empathise with other humans, as animal responses to our actions reflect how humans would react to our actions, be they cruel or kind

I am often amazed at how my own cat returns the love I show it, and how she expresses herself when she finds my conduct towards her unsavioury. This serves as a reminder to me not to repeat similar mistakes with humans. Keeping a pet is time-consuming, but affords one a great learning experience
